History

Bloomfield Irrigation is divided into 3 Precincts.
Precinct #1- Porter Wash East
Precinct #2- Porter Wash West to 1st Street
Precinct #3- 1st Street to end of the ditch
BID diverts water from the San Juan River a few miles down stream of the Navajo Damn Spillway.BID then carries the water 42 miles to the end of the ditch located East of Bloomfield
